Our story

Wildfern designs, builds and cares for gardens across Bath and nearby villages. We bring planting and hard landscaping into one practical plan, then deliver the work with careful ground preparation and a tidy handover. From a new patio and borders to regular seasonal care, the aim is a garden that improves rather than becomes harder to manage.

Do you offer design without construction?
Yes. We can provide a standalone concept and planting plan, or carry the design through to build.
When is the best time to plant?
Autumn and spring are often ideal, but container-grown plants can be installed through much of the year with proper watering.
Can you work with materials we already have?
Yes. We assess whether paving, stone, timber or plants can be safely reused within the new design.
Do you remove garden waste?
Yes. Removal and disposal are included where listed in the written quotation.
